Certainly, Mav. I'll try to be brief but informative, at the risk of highjacking this thread. The type of camo you choose should definitely match the woods you play in, and not all woods are the same.
At Paintball Jungle in Northern California, where I play, the woods have a more grayish-brown bark and duller leaves
like so. (The link is just to show the woods, the people in it are not me nor my team.) During our last game, when I had my full
Multicam TRUs, my friends said they could hardly see me at 20 yards until I moved.
Other woods are lusher, therefore greener. Other woods are drier, therefore more tan in appearance. I'm not privy to the forests of Virginia, so other first hand experience might be needed on your side. My opinion: buy a shirt and pants but make sure you can return it with a receipt. Hang it on a tree in that forest and walk 20 yards away. If it's hard for you to see the outline, you're set. If you can make it out clearly, grab that receipt and return it and try another camo pattern.
There isn't one pattern that fits all. Good luck!
