We have the 5.2 which is 317. She still gets up and goes though.
I too have a lead foot, so have had to learn to let it build speed unless I really need to get going fast.
ADDED: Heck 5.7 is only 347 ci. You have a 5.9? I thought Dodge only went with a diesel with that number? Or of course it may be marketing numbers… the 5.0 Mustang was actually not 5.0 but a tad lower. What does the sticker under your hood say for liters?
