Why make it look like you use your equipment, when you can use your equipment. thats just how i feel about it, but i know cosmetics is always in the eyes of the beholder. But i can say i do like the weathered look when it defines lines, like in Weathering 101: A Nauzerlvr "How To". When he was done it didn't look like he abused it, it looked sharper. Now i now thats a marker and yours is a mask but the concept would be the same to me.
