Re: Remote, Response Trigger Expansion Cylone Trouble

I agree that a remote AND an expansion chamber is a bad combo. You are experiencing "shoot down", the CO2 bottle can't supply enough gas to fill the volume (empty space) you have with a remote AND an expansion chamber after shooting. Lose the x-chamber.

The purpose of an x-chamber is to allow the CO2 liquid (yes, it's liquid in the bottle) from the bottle to expand into a gas. Without some kind of expansion chamber, when firing fast, it is possible to get liquid CO2 into the marker which freezes o-rings and can crack plastic. A remote acts as a small expansion chamber. Lose the x-chamber.

You could also go HPA, and still lose the x-chamber and not worry about liquid CO2 at all.

OR, I recently had an issue with the tank o-ring: The o-ring was still functional but a piece was in the valve area interfering with the valve. If I had a gauge on my marker I would have seen the problem.

Remote hose collapsing? Please explain.
