| Re: HPA vs C02 After years of being a loyal Co2 user I made the switch to HPA for a few reasons some are stated in the before posts.
Price - They have come down to a reasonable price for the average person
to save up and buy. I will be splurging on a 80lb scuba tank as well.
For 7$ or free if I can bother Firenoid5 for free air I can play
for a few days now off the scuba tank.
Some fields have play all day for 5$ for HPA while it's 7$ per 20oz
Co2.
Mechanics - More constant per shot and not effected by hot / cold like
Co2 is. (Seen many of Co2 bottles blowing there safety valve
waiting to play with the local National Guard unit)
Weight - 68/4500 carbon wrap tank full weighs almost the same as a 20oz
Co2 tank empty. Give or take. This is best guess as my HPA tank
is on my back now and not hanging off the marker.
Environmentally safe - As per told by Rex at one of our local sporting goods
store.
Guess one can nickel and dime it one way or the other. For me am glad I went HPA. Best use of my Economic stimulus act of 2008.
