| Re: Need help in resolving spiking issue. *insert Dr. Frankenstein laugh* I just seem to come up with weird things that work... it makes sense though if you think about it. It's the only lube i've ever come across that you can use for a bolt and powertube portion (and they need love too heh). As far as when I clean it, normally, it never really has any gunk or residue or anything even after I've used it a couple times. Normally I clean it when I take a marker hit, as any paint on my gun drives me up a wall (which is about every other weekend). So I really haven't noticed any difference... but if you're seeing some wear or residue, then it could affect it when you clean. Also, I take every o-ring out, clean them individually, and then clean the o-ring grooves with a soft bristle toothbrush to make sure the o-rings arent' holding any random crud.
Ironically, I work at an aerospace plant on a paid internship/college ride.. lol.... for mechanical engineering/hydraulics. we design fuel governors for pretty much every engine that's in a commercial plane today (and half of our air force). 1.23 billion in sales last year WOOT!
