After reading this story, i've had to take some time to cool down before I post something.

Now this is why i'm glad the system that we have in place in Australia is the way it is. Anyone in Australia who wants a paintball marker has to:-

1) be at least 18 years old
2) apply for a firearms license
3) show firearm competency to a registered firearms instructor
4) pass a police check for violent crime history

Now I know I, and a lot of other Australians think that the process is a massive pile of beaurocratic paperwork and BS, but it's incidents like these that make me thankful that moron teens can't just go down to the local WalMart and buy a highly dangerous weapon. Don't get me wrong, i'm not ragging on the good name of the US of A. Not for a second. The best paintball guns in the world, as well as the majority of the quality upgrades for said paintball guns are develloped in the states. It just makes me question the regulatory bodies who govern (or lack thereof) these sorts of things.
