I've seen his videos and I think they are hit or miss. I have no doubt that he has good intentions and is doing a good service but responding to what people on pbnation are saying just shows that he does care about the negative things that are being said about him. He says he doesn't but in fact he does otherwise he wouldn't have responded with such an emotionally charged video for the whole world to see his defense. He just handled it all wrong.

Anyway, back on topic, I don't think that massive nationwide laws should be implemented to not allow people under 18 to own one for a few reasons:

1. It puts in peoples minds the impression that these things are extremely dangerous and anyone under the age of 18 cannot possibly understand how to handle them responsibly; which is a fallacy.
2. Not enough of these incidents happen enough to punish everyone for a couple of punks' actions.
3. If you take away the paintball guns, they will revert back to BB guns, airsoft, etc (ie - kids will find something else to be destructive with)

I think that situations like this should warrant revocation of privileges to own a paintball gun for a long time, in addition to criminal charges of assault with a deadly weapon. If you misbehave with these things, you lose your privilege to own/use one for a long time. Once enough time has passed, you should have matured enough to be able to use them again. Now the only reason I say "deadly weapon" is because any item being using in an assault can be viewed as a deadly weapon and could cause death in the right circumstances. Hell, just think of what a rock can do if someone got hit in the temple! It does not mean that paintball guns in themselves are deadly or should be compared to real guns, knives, etc. Being used in the wrong manner can make them deadly and a punishment suitable for such action should be justified.
