Re: Flatline versus Hammerhead

Alright, take this with a grain of salt.. Ill try to tell ya the best i can but man am I ever hungover this morning. I have tried hammerheads, and flatlines. Hammerheads are far more reliable just because its simpler, they are DEADLY accurate. Flatlines do GREAT when you have it dialed in right. But thats just it, its kind of a ***** to dial in. But again, done right its got RETARDED distance shot capability. Also, temperature HUGELY effects the flatline, rate of fire and velocity are also a huge factor in a flatlines performance. Hammerheads are great, but again its got the accuracy more than it does the distance. So heres the best of both worlds: Palmers brass. Palmers brass barrels are probably the hottest **** since... Fire really. Also you can get them to make an APEX ready tip for it. I custom ordered a new barrel for my Delta Elite and i just slapped my APEX tip right on it. Ive tried hammerheads, flattys, palmers, and apex's. for performance and reliablility, a palmers brass barrel is the way to go. If you dont like palmers, go with hammerhead. Its a little more expensive but worth it. I think anyone on these forums will back me up when i say palmers is the best though. Or if you really want both capabilities... Just roll a palmers brass with the apex ready tip (Yes, palmers does that) Again, your call. But thats just my educated opinion.
