depending on how well the oil is contained in the back half of his marker, it may not be an issue. What could be an issue, is the fact that it is actually gritty (ultra fine none the less, but still a form of grit). I'm not sure if graphite would wear down the bolt, because it's plastic, as well as the o-rings. I think I would stay with the teflon idea, because it's a petrol based distillate, and contains no grainy particulate.
