hmm...bad CS stories...
these are from dealing with Dell...
i was not able to find teh Dell CS phone number for whatever reason, even when checking online, i was not able to find it. i could find numbers for ordering Dell products.
I finally found a number that i thought would be the one to call, and indeed, it was a CS line. as i am listening to the line of options i am waiting for: talk to a CS rep. yet it did not come. all the other options would not have helped me, because they were too broad and didn't deal with anything i needed to know about. i just needed to ask someone a question that was not in their FAQ section.
when i got to the end of the list i waited a second and expected to here: press 0 to talk to an operator or press # to return the main menu. keep in mind i've spent 15 minutes wading in and out of their various sub sections trying to find one that either helped me, or took me to a real person.
after that second of waiting was up, the recorded voice simply said "Goodbye"
thanks, thanks alot dell...
so i called back...
and right away yelled HELP!!!! into the phone. the recorded voice rsponded: "i'm not sure i understood you, please say your question again"
Me:
HHHEEEEEELLLLPPPPP!!!!!!!
Dell recorded voice:
"let me connect you with e CS rep right away, thank you"
when in doubt, yell for help
