| Re: Paintball Pistols Back when I played with an autococker I always caried a PGP, it saved my butt on more then one ocasion. I would tune my cocker to shoot faster then it was realy ment to, so any little thing that was bumped out of adjustment and the gun would stop working completly. (I have nothng against cockers, they are woundrful and reliable when properly adjusted)
I prefer the tippmans these days and generlay don't even wory about needing a back up gun, but I'm going to start playing some bigger games and have thought about buying a tac-8 or braking out the PGP.
My main reson for concern is not that my tippman will break down, but that I will run out of air. But then again stranger things have happened and it's a little security that can mean the diference between ending your game early or continueing with the mission.
On another note I would be willing to bet that most guys toting pistols as back ups are not capable of efectivly playing with them. I bet they don't practice with them as a primary gun on any regular basis, and there for are waistng their energy toting them around just to look cool, just a thought, not true of all players. |
