Yea, coincidentally i started a thread about a year ago on the same exact idea you had, that was to put cotton balls in the barrell. I learned that by putting cottonballs in the barrel of the flatline, no noise would be dampend unless you ported the 'actual' barrel inside the shroud. However, cotton balls WILL dampen the clinking sound the barrel makes when it hits the shroud. I found that there isnt really a good way of making the flatline stealthy.
