Re: Good shooting habits, do you have them?

I usually am not a fan of the stocks on the market now. they promote people to bend their head down to their gun instead of lining up the gun to their nose. some of the custom stock we have seen that mount by the asa can help keep you and the gun in proper shooting posture.

Looking down at your sights constantly can give you tunnel vision and can keep your mind on one target. Looking over the top of your gun with the barrel lined up with your nose allows to scan the field as you fire and promotes good snap shooting posture and muscle memory. Keeping a paintball gun lined up of your shoulder is a bad habit as it makes you rely on your sights or move and turn your head to line up a shot.

The stocks on the market like CAR stocks and any of the tippmann line of stocks (dogleg almost acceptable) dont allow the natural shooting position making you compromise with skill. I believe tippmann should also look into ergonomics and shooting posture when they design their next stock.
