WTF BT M16 APEX Barrel


I'm having a little trouble installing it. I reattached the barrel adaptor to my A-5 because I was using a Flatline Barrel before and tried to screw in the APEX Barrel. It seems to do only about 1.5 turns on the thread then stops, but the sight post points 8 o'clock, instead of 12 o'clock.

Ideas?
