Great write-up... I haven't broken mine down yet and may have to do it now with your guide as a companion.

One question though. You don't have any of your hoses connected during the breakdown. Can you leave your hose connected or no? It's not really a problem for me to take it off but I don't want to do the extra work if I don't need to.
