I do not have both, however i have a 14" CP smoothie that i used to shoot anything i wasnt sure about... I will say the eliptical honing sounds like a definate plus for making smooth bores more accurate.

I will also note, that with my smooth bore i can shoot all day and not cheese one. But my HH has so far cheesed 4 because of A. shoddy balls (dimples and bad seems) and B. My velocity was a bit higher than it should have been.
