My actual callsign is "Ace". I'm actually going to say it was self given. Only because my buddies kept calling me a less-than-courteous word to which I'd just reply, "You're mispronouncing it. It's ACE." After a few retorts of that nature, the name stuck.

Also, since a "flying ace" was an aviator who downed five enemies, I strive to keep my KTD ratio above 5:1. Keyword being: strive
