In the past I have played many games with the A5 on the Speedball field againist high end guns, even in 2 tournaments and held my own. However, I think the high end guns are so fast it is really hard to use in Speedball. It would deffintely help to get an A5 EGrip w/ WAS Board to help it go faster, but it is still bulky/long for speedball.

If you are using an A5 for Speedball I would stay away from the flatline, a regular 12"-14" barrel would help do a lot, the Flatline is more of a woodsball barrel.

For Woodsball I would go with an A5 it is a great gun for woods play. If you are going into Speedball I would go with the Smart Parts Ion which is a pretty good gun at a low cost $199.
