ball latch anyone??

Hi ya'll.... I am presently a new proud owner of the A-5 stealth package. But i seem to have run into a problem. Some times my balls just roll right outta my barrell....why is this doing this... when i looked into the place where balls are fed by the cyclone i just see an empty silver square whole. Am i missing my ball latch? is that where it is supposed to be?? please help....

Re: ball latch anyone??

It sounds like the ball latch is missing. You should be able to see an orange rubber latch through your cyclone with the marker cocked.

Re: ball latch anyone??

you have to take out 4 pins, 6 screws and two bolts. this seperates the reciever halves and you can stick a new latch in there.

Re: ball latch anyone??

not that common.....I would find a shop that carried tippmann guns and hope they have a parts kit you can buy.

Re: ball latch anyone??

a repair kit is like 12 bones and it comes with a new ball latch, its not hard to replace at all, or you can take the bugger back and get a replacement gun. I'm really sorry to hear about your sitatuion, that sucks.

infextion will become famous soon enough
Re: ball latch anyone??

make sure that you are missing the ball latch first. you can do this be cocking the gun taking off the barrel and seeing if it is there. it should be a little orange thing.

Second the reason the balls maybe rolling out is because when you uncock you gun the bolt pushes forward and releases the ball

COCKED

UNCOCKED

^^^ IM not sure if it worked

Re: ball latch anyone??

Like others said cock the gun and look into the port from the cyclone you should see a orange tip sticking up/
