Actually, whether or not its worth it is subjective. A couple did show an improvement over the stock bolt but its up to someone spending the money if it's worth it or not. Someone with excess cash might think it is but someone on a tight budget might not.

Re: What Bolt?

i remember that lab test, a few bolts actually performed worse than the stock one.
for me, that sort of upgrade (powertube, bolt, etc) is an "only if the stock one breaks" sort of upgrade.

Re: What Bolt?

my bolt was badly worn, so contradictary to what I said earlier, I bought the Trinity Sick bolt, on the crono I was shooting 265 to 270(comfortable for me because I tend to ambush)with the stock bolt.
with the sick I was shooting 345 to 350, that little oring gave some improvement for sure.
after dialing the velocity back to normal and playing a day of ball I noticed I could shoot more on my 68/3000 than with the stock bolt, about a hoppers worth more.
I hope this lasts for awhile.

Re: What Bolt?

I've used the stopck bolt, the Rufus dawg wicked bolt + powertube & the orange Howitzer bolt... can't say I really see much of a difference between the Rufus & Howitzer though
