Re: tombstone leaking air plz help

it could be coming from elsewhere, the o-ring in the powertube could be warped and that could cause the leak, also double check where the line connects as well, sometimes it can sound and feel like its coming from the tombstone but its really from the line itself.

it definatley is from the tombstone because i replaced all of the o rings and sprayed soapy water, and it was not bubblign anywhere on the line, it is leaking from where the tombstone meets the powertube.

Re: tombstone leaking air plz help

Make sure tombstone is not damaged/scratched where it's in contact with powertube o-ring.
I had a slight leak there once but it was fixed by replacing powertube o-ring.

No wrong BAD! Take the Teflon off and lossen it up if you over tighten it the o-ring will not seat properly. Problem solved.

Re: tombstone leaking air plz help

Remeber the threads are not what holds the air back cuz if they did what would be the purpose of the o-rings

At the risk of stating the obvious.......

"washer first, then the O-ring, tombstone holds it all together!"

Just check it again, it's possible you've assembled things in the wrong order or lost something.
