| Re: How long before parts need replacing If they ban parts just e-mail me and christmas will come early. I have had my A5 since August and I have put somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 or so cases through it. I have replaced a couple of valve O rings. I did recently have an issue with the valve and E-grip but Tippmann is making good on those. Overall my A5 has been one heck of a tank!! |

| Re: How long before parts need replacing If you clean it well after each use and oil it right, you'll get a lot of use out of it. Usually the O-rings are the wear-and-tear parts, a tippmann parts kit pretty much coveres the other things too like the ratchet for the cyclone and some extra goodies that might just get lost durring tear-down likes screws, springs, ball latch, etc.

| Re: How long before parts need replacing Get the parts kit from Tippmann and 1 or 2 or the O-Ring kits from them as well I would also order some sort of power tube either a after market metal one or the std plastic one but the tend to crack. I have also got myself superfly front bolt and have the std one spare. If you want to solve the cyclone ratchet problem get the Vortex upgrade and save in the long run. I have also got some extra detents they are cheap but tend to wear. |

| I would use a JCS red hot power tube and with that you get a new bolt that is updated and for the cyclone feed get the JET CLICK upgrade is replaces the plastic pieces w/ steel and also adds a brass bushing to the cyclone. With a little lube should give a lot use w/ little maintanence. The install is easy. If you have any problems or need help you can pm me |

It got classed as a category R fire arm, which involves "fire arm replicas, fire arms that resemble: rifles, sub machineguns and pistols" the a5 happens to resemble a MP5K so thats why they got so strict with it, but calling customs i found out aslong as you follow proper import procedure and have the correct forms and do everything by the book, parts and the marker are able to be brought into the country
