Hey guys. I gotta JCS Gold Powertube. I installed it, and I have air leaking from the hole where the FVA would be. Does this need to be filled, or did I mess up somewhere along the line? Thanks.

Oh that sucks. is it like a leak every shot or a constant leak? I never used that powertube so I had no idea.

It's a constant leak from the FVA hole.

Are you getting it only after you initially aired up or ever after a few shots? In other words, when cocked, do you still have the leak?

When cocked, after shots, it's just spittin co2. It's not a huge leak, I can't even feel it if I put my finger right over the hole, but I can hear it and know it's going on.

I aired it up with the gold power tube in but never shot it.... it didnt leak.. I thought u meant when ever u shot air went out it... Lets see if we can figure this out!

Might wanna check out your valve. Take it apart, lube it up, reinstall. If that doesn't help, try replacing o-rings in it. If that doesn't help, try a new valve altogether. Sounds like its seating correctly.

Are you able to cycle the marker? Check orings and that the valve is seated properly.

The marker cycles fine, there isn't a problem there. It's a very minor leak, not enough to effect anything, except that it's using air that could be better suited for dome shots.

Pull the powertube out and dis-assemble the valve.

Check the o-rings for damage or wear (replace them if need be).

Oil the o-rings well before re-assembly.

Re-assemble the valve taking extra care to make sure all o-rings are properly seated.

Replace the valve in the powertube, clean and re-assemble the gun and re-test.
