Hoppes 9 Oil

Is this the same oil that comes with Tippmann markers? -> Hoppe's 9 - Lubricating Oil

Re: Hoppes 9 Oil

Yes. Tippmann packs small tubes of Hoppes #9 oil with their A5 markers, and I'm sure the 98 series.

So the oil in there, is the same that came with the A-5? Is that the right product?

Re: Hoppes 9 Oil

That it is. Regular paintball or air-tool oil is fine to use, as well.

Re: Hoppes 9 Oil

Drop in about 3 drops in the ASA before you air up, cock it, shoot a few times, and your good for quick maintenance. I'd advise taking apart the gun and cleaning it then oiling up everything, just depends on how often you play or how often you get your gun dirty. It's your discretion. I do after every other day of play.
