So I found a NIB LPK on eBay for a nice price. It was described as for an A-5, but the pic was of an m98 kit. I contacted the seller and asked, and he said it was for an A-5, so I bid, and won. It arrived today, and of course it's for an m98.


Anyhow, I'm working on resolving the issue with the seller, but I was wondering- since I was going to do a custom volumizer (don't need the DOP thing or stock volumizer) and add a Palmer QEV kit (don't need the bigger hoses) anyhow, could I just install the m98 internals in my A-5?

I don't want to open the box to test my theory - but don't the two markers use the same internals?

The powertube and valve are different. The A5 has a cutout for the tombstone whereas the m98 doesn't have a tombstone. That's the basic jist of it anyways.

What 98 is it?

Most 98s, as I recall, don't have a banjo fitting for the cyclone.
