hey guys....i have kinda a problem.... i just bought my a5 and i went to play with it for the first time yesturday. it has a g36 kit and i am using a WAS board e-grip.....so i was shooting in ramping mode yesturday and when i start to shoot fast after about 5-10 balls the gun completly stops firing for about 6 secs. after about 6 secs i can fire again but if i shoot semi fast after about 3 balls it completly stops firing again so i have to let it 'cool down' for about 10 secs before i can shoot fast again and then the same thing happens over.....im pretty sure it is not the trigger because it was doing the same thing when i was in turbo mode too...i also disconnected the air and started firing the e-grip dry and it was clicking normally....its as if the gun was jamming.....anybody have any ideas as what could be the problem? p.s. i just polished my internals last week. also this is the first time i really got the chance to fire my marker not in semi auto.

Re: stops firing im fairly sure that its not the trigger when i was shooting the trigger dry without air it was shooting fine and did not stop and im using good new duracell batteries from wallmart (the expensive ones).

Re: stops firing umm...im not sure diddnt have time to check....im pretty sure there was at least 900psi in the tank because i remember filling it before i played. im not completly sure....also i was using my friends spare air tank when i was having this problem but he had to leave so i switched to co2 and i was having same problem with the co2 but the tank was almost empty and i had to leave field bc i ran out of gas so...anyone else got any ideas?

Re: stops firing again.....the board shot fine when i tested it without air it did not stop firing when i was shooting it dry without air hooked up to the gun. it was shooting normally and did not stop firing when i was ramping dry.....i did not change the dwell on the board....i do not even know what dwell does... the instructions for the board suck and do not explain anything... they use all these difficult words that only a true geek can understand =p.... the board was the first thing i suspected but after testing it i do not think that it is my problem....i will try shooting it with air tomorrow and see again if the board is working properly.....

Re: stops firing It may work fine without air, and without the solenoid having to exert enough force to repeatedly trip the sear to release the rear bolt. The fact remains that the same work load conditions are not being replicated. Odds are you have a faulty part on the board. You can begin to isolate the problem by removing the egrip, and putting the stock grip on. Then air up your marker, and fire as fast as you can. If you experience no problem, then the problem is your egrip. Or, you can place your egrip onto another A-5, air it up, and fire in the same manner you were before. If the gun starts to act up, then its the egrip. If the A-5 acts up with the stock trigger on, then the problem is most likely within the A-5 itself. Same if the egrip shoots fine on another A-5. Keep in mind that we don't know what all you've tried, and we don't have your A-5 sitting in front of us. So the best we can do is attempt to give the best solutions as possible.

| Re: stops firing Are you using HPA or CO2? If it's CO2 then you probably should slow down the rate of fire since you're probably frosting the tank (bad for fast shooting). If not, then I'd say to check your power tube for a crack. I know you said it's brand new but you might want to take a peek anyway.
