Re: New A5/X7 Valve vs. Old

I've had my gun for 2-3 months, and I just got the new valve... WOW
what a difference it made... I went from about 240 to 290 just by dropping the new valve in

Re: New A5/X7 Valve vs. Old

Great post, thanks for the pics... also at this point most of the aftermarket powertubes have been tweaked by manufacturers to work with the new valve. So there should be little to no issue there if you are purchasing a replacement like the JCS red hot powertube. The post above may have been using a really old version powertube.

Tippmann sent us (me, dad, brother) three new style rear bolts with drive springs, and three new valves with powertubes for all of our A5s. Free of charge.

is that cause your a tippmann dealer? i always hear about people getting new parts for their tippmann, is that cause they are still under warranty? cause i have had my a-5 since the dy the came out and i wouldnt mind a new valve or any other new parts!

It's usually because it's under warranty. Tippmann's new warranty on guns ranging from about 3 months old - into the future... runs 2 years now.

Re: New A5/X7 Valve vs. Old

As anyone heard of a newer X7 valve that looks like the A5 valve (2 channels instead of 4) but with bigger channels?
