Valve Question

I received my A-5 last August, and I have heard on the net that they started installing new valves in their A-5 models now. I took apart my A-5 and it has the older valve. Will ordering the new valve and installing it on my marker have a better effect on it's velocity and performance? If so, how do I order it? I have a trinity spring kit on order so should I call tippmann for a new valve, or stick with just the kit? Any opinions would be great.

Re: Valve Question

If you have the 2 channel valve and your A-5 is still under warranty, call Tippmann and they will send you a new valve for free if you are having velocity problems. Or you can buy one for $30.

Re: Valve Question

The new valve made a huge difference for me, my velocity went from 240 to 290 just from installing the valve... (without any tuning)
I just called and spoke with one of the reps, and explained my problems... (but I've only had my gun for 2 months

Re: Valve Question

I agree with calling Tippmann. They'll probably help you straight up.
