LPK + Q-Loader doesn't work

In my quest to make my marker as quiet as possible, I decided to add an LPK to the mix. I side-mounted the volumizer (with the Springer mod) directly to the tombstone, and connected the input to a Palmer's Direct Stabilizer. I installed the felt pad mod to the lighter LP rear bolt, assembled the marker, then screwed the pressure down to 350psi. My A-5 has a JCS RVA, uses HPA and a Q-Loader system.

So what's the problem? Every time I shoot, the marker goes into full auto, as if the sear isn't catching the bolt. Normally this is caused by a worn sear or bolt, but both are new and show no wear. The sear spring is fine. My thinking is that there isn't enough pressure to push the bolt assembly far enough so that the sear catches it.

Here's what I did so far:
1) I swapped the red Madman spring for the extra light green spring, hoping this would reduce the tension and allow the bolt to cycle all the way back. No luck.
2) I backed the RVA as far out as I could. No luck.
3) I adjusted the FVA in and out. No luck.
4) I adjusted the pressure from 300psi to 500psi. No luck.

Here's what I still want to try:
A) Remove the spacer o-ring that came with the RVA and sits behind the rear bolt. I don't like the idea of removing it, but it may give the bolt more room to breathe.
B) Remove the RVA completely and test with the stock drive spring and end cap. Even if it works, however, my setup requires the RVA as the stock assembly connects directly to it.
C) Remove the Cyclone plug screw that came with the Q-Loader system. This screw plugs the hole in the right receiver that allows the excess air to travel to the Cyclone, thus, cycling the sprocket. I'm not sure what kind of affect this will have, but it's one of the only major variables I can think of that might alter the operation ot the LPK enough to make it malfunction.

I'm fresh out of ideas on this one. If anyone can shed some light on this, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Mavro

Re: LPK + Q-Loader doesn't work

Stock trigger, R/T, or e-grip?

Not that is really really matters, but I have a rather similar setup and my RT oring was worn and once tripped it leaked air around the RT fittings and caused the same problem.

Perhaps the felt pad on the bolt is preventing it from getting the valve to fully open?

kender has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Re: LPK + Q-Loader doesn't work

the plug for the cyclone feed needs to stay in, if you remove it your just letting air out and getting less pressure to push the rear bolt back.

Re: LPK + Q-Loader doesn't work

Marvo, you may have one of those A-5's that hates low pressure. not all A-5's are created equally, i know many that cannot run under 700 psi while mine would run at 600 psi with the same parts.

the LPK is supposed to work, but even then if you just have an A-5 that hates LP then it might not ever work. it sounds to me like you have all you bases covered. have you tried it with Co2? Co2 packs a harder punch that HPA does. alot of A-5's have a hard time working well off HPA and have velocity problems because of it. it would be just one more dagger in the heart causing it not to work with all the other parts.

does the LPK work if you were to take the Q Loader off?
