Valve Internals

Long time no post. Sorry for that, the Navy has been keeping me busy.
So I finally picked up my gun after 5 months and decided to trouble shoot the bad valve. A little disassembly and some patience later I found that the seal on the valve stem had something that seemed to be glued to it. Like a drop of model glue or Solder. Anywho, for the period of time it was in working order it damaged the seal and it needs to be replaced. My question is, seeing I own two markers, should I just buy a few of these and keep these around or is this a low-fail item? Thanks for your input.

It is a low-fail item. It is a good idea to keep a extra around. Just in case!!!

Re: Valve Internals

I agree. I always like to have spare functioning parts available.

Re: Valve Internals

Especially if you are ordering and have to pay for shipping anyway, order extra plus other things that wear out or get lost.
  1. O-Rings
  2. Springs
  3. Tomestone latch
  4. Cup seal
  5. Etc…

Re: Valve Internals

I have the major things on hand. Until now I've never had a problem with my valve, so I was just wondering if these were high fail parts. Thanks for the advice everyone!
