I searched the forums but haven't found the answer I am really looking for, so I'm sorry if this has already been asked.

So I plan on getting the JCS RVA to put on my gun, but I don't know which powertube to go with. I also have a female palmers stab just to let you know. I want to change the velocity only from the JCS RVA, so my instincts tell me to go with the Gold Powertube since it doesnt have a FVA hole. Im also concerned about sound. Which one is louder? I know a lot of people say the red hot powertube makes the gun more louder, but never heard anything about the gold one.

The sound is the same between the tubes. The gold one just eliminates the FVA. So if you want to adjust the fps with a RVA, then the gold one will work.

I believe if you purchase the RVA, then you can use the gold power tube because the gold power tube doesnt have the FVA.
