| Re: *Need advice on cleaning!* It really depends on where the hit occurred. If it hit any seams like where the cyclone attaches or the reciever-halves, you should at-least tear-down enough to get a closer look. You'd be amazed how far paint can get inside If it gets into areas like where the balls get loaded, you should really considder a good cleaning to make it perform its best. I tear mine down to every last nut and bolt to clean it out after every game, but I might be a little OCD with mine As for oiling, you should do it before and after you store it. You might want to tear it down anyway just to learn about it. I found that doing it a few times and looking and an exploded-view drawing helped me learn all about how it works and where I can improve or customize it to my needs.

| Re: *Need advice on cleaning!* I tear down after bad hits, really dirty play, Usually I do a break down 2-3 times a year. Oil it with about 5 drops of oil into the ASA. Fire several time to run the oil through the marker. TAKE YOUR BARREL OFF! especially if it's a flatline.

| Re: *Need advice on cleaning!* Doing the Polished internals mod might help you learn your way around the gun as well as make it shoot more consistently and wear less.

| Or if you are me. For some reason, it seems that everytime I play, I needed to strip down to clean it. First time was the ball hit right at the trigger and the pin that you pull back to cock the gun. This was all at the same time when I raised my hand to say that I was out. The second time balls chopped while feeding from the cyclone. The third time, ball breaks. The forth time, I received my new upgrade parts like the JCS trigger, T-Tech Cycle and JCS Red Hot Power Tube. So, within the last 2 months, I have taken apart my gun a lot!! ![]() On the positive side, I know how to rebuild an A-5 without looking at the instruction manual. |
