I have a Tac Cap, and used it for the first time ever during Operation Halo 2. The biggest scenario game in Ontario, if not Canada. After using mu R5 for most of the day I switched to the Tac Cap. With out even realizing it, the cap changed the way I played the rest of the day. I was actual pushing forward more, not laying down paint for others, I used my 50 rounds to walk forward while firing, duck behing cover reload from a 140 pod, or one of my 2 50 round pods, while other team members fire to keep the other team down, then repeated the process. I actually had more fun playing that way, and with my red dot scope I do get a better view with the cap on.

then i wouldn't bother getting a tac cap. the big advantage w/ those is that it allows u to mount a sight on top. the only other thing is if u want to play with limited rounds.

I use a Tac Cap when i go sniper on the field, but thats just due to the fact that i have a Scope and that the 200 Hopper sticks far up and will cover up my view when proning and waiting for a victim.

But as far as buying it for looks in game, i would'nt do it. You'll always need more ammo and its better to go with more ammo than you need than to think you have exactly enough, you'll end up wanting that other part also.

If you do buy it tho, you could always bring your normal hopper along and keep it in a bag at the tent or something like that. Ive got my ordinary hopper in a sack when i play, tho my sack is with me during play to keep my tank concealed in.

I use my Tac cap mostly at night, to help accomdate my night vision scope, but I have played with it during the day and it is really a paint saver you try to make all your shot more effective with limmited ammo.

A tac cap will work, but I'm partial to the Q-loader. You get 100 rounds that load fast, and you get better vision.

Yes but the Q-Loader does away with the cyclone, which to me, seems a bit silly.

Ooooo... where do I get some of those rounds? heh, it would be "interesting" to mix a couple pepper balls into the 200-rd hopper just to spice things up on the field (pun intended!).

Why? Other then the amount of ammo you can carry the q-loader is better. it loads faster, wont even pinch your balls (heh), and makes for a more streamlined view.

hell, if I was using an A5 as a police officer for the afore mentioned pepper balls, id totally go Q!
