| I am rather heavily considering purchasing an A5 TAC CAP Loader. 1) Does it significantly improve the view? 2) I'm thinking 50 rounds might be ok for attacking, but not defending because I recall defensive games where I had to reload many times, but offensive games where I shot barely 20 rounds. I suppose it will be possible to bring 2 different hoppers on the field, but it could be quite annoying. From your experiences, i would greatly appreciate any comments on the A5 TAC CAP Loader. Cheers! ![]()

| Re: A5 TAC CAP Loader Yes, i was intending woodsball. 8 x 2 x 15min games in one day. I don't plan on ever buying a scope.

| Re: A5 TAC CAP Loader hmm, im not sure it would help your situation then. I dont think you should sacrifice the amount of balls you can carry for looks. Please correct me if thats not why you're considering the loader. One question, are you running a e-grip/rt or the stock trigger? If you are running the stock, it would still be pretty good. Same with the e-grip and r/t, you'll just need more speed pods, especially if your shooting 15+ bps. |

| Re: A5 TAC CAP Loader Law enforcement uses Tippmann's for training and alternate purposes, they make pepperspray paintballs and ones designed to break windows. The tac cap is meant to be used in milsim engagements. Simulating real life scenarios where you only have 30-50 shots per clip. If you play speed ball or any rec ball where people use 200+ round hoppers, don't use the tac caps. If it is a scenario game and everyone elses' ammo is limited similarly, then by all means try the tac cap. They are meant solely to look more realistic and provide room for scopes/sights. |

| Re: A5 TAC CAP Loader My team uses them. Just as long as everyone is useing them then its ok. We usaully play 4 Tac caps with xtra 200 rounds 1 heavy (which is me) 330hopper with xtra 300 - 600 rounds and scout/sniper with 100 (which is me sometimes) this is on attack. If your playing ExE (straight elim games) and the opfor has standard 200 round hoppers you will be reloading more often then them. I like the tac cap 50s because you have to learn fire control. ![]()

| Re: A5 TAC CAP Loader Well, im doing it mainly to give me more sight out of the front of the marker, if thats at all possible. You tell me. Also, I dont know yet if it is an issue to have only 50 rounds max in the hopper for my 15 minute games. Again, you tell me.

| Re: A5 TAC CAP Loader My standard statement any time the Tac-Cap is asked about, from my personal expierence as someone who has Mastered the art of limited capacity battle. All I use is a Tac-Cap w/ highly tuned RT, been using 50 round brass eagle hoppers for years before that. I am a front line soldier, breacher, assaulter very up close and personal, and have never been outgunned becouse of my hopper. Scenario, Rec, or Big games have never been an issue. You will find that once you learn to take the correct amount of shots w/the correct point of aim you wont need to have a kidney bean full of 200 rounds sitting on your gun to get a kill. Kills will come just as easily and as often but w/only a fraction of the ammo. Learn to access the situation, read and target the OPFOR, and reload quickly (realoading under fire is a rush in it's own). My point is don't don't fall for the hype, firepower is not anywhere important as skill and tact. Think about the crazy fools you see in the middle of the mix w/ a pump, what do think they have to say about cutting down your firepower and still getting some? |

| Re: A5 TAC CAP Loader Good point. I suppose one thing it cripples me at is support. It's a tough call.

| Re: A5 TAC CAP Loader Course the TAC CAP is also fantastic for reducing your target size, that big hopper always gets hit! You can also get the elbow adapter that does two things - first it moves your hopper over so you can mount stuff better and second it gives 30 extra balls. So a TAC CAP plus elbow adapter equals 80 balls with no gigantic pod for folks to hit. And really I only go through 80 balls when I'm spraying and praying or simply trying to keep someone's head down. |
