I was planning on showing this off when it was finished, but I thought I might show you guys a bit early.

Last year I suggested on another thread called: "best looking a5 setup on here," that someone should undertake this mod. Well, I decided to do it myself.

It's not finished. What you are looking at, I constructed from balsa wood and Bondo. My friend who does Halo armor has begun casting this in thick, urethane plastic. It will be strong, and be able to pick all the details in there.

Also, the teeth on the chain saw are not actually on there yet. I photoshoped them on there to see how it would look with the teeth. When my buddy casts it, he will cast about 20 or so teeth, glue them onto my balsa piece, then cast the whole foregrip/chainsaw area.

When all the parts are cast, I will clean it up, sand it, and paint it to look like the real Gears of War Lancer.

What do you think?

So far my buddy has cast the main body part. He is very busy these days and tells me "not to get my hopes up" -meaning it will be a while before he gets to the other parts. After he casts everything and I can get back to work on it, I will post more pics, but don't get your hopes up!
