| Re: Brass? That's true, but remember with with the brass you get virtually no breaks so why worry about having to swab it out? ![]() The lapco is good but you will only get amazing results only if you have filed paint that closely matches it's bore size. The brass shoots everything well and does it with style! |

| Re: Brass? true, but .689 is a pretty common size at .690 the brass isn't much bigger. Arghhhh, darn it party it sounded sooo good until you pointed that out lol. (evil breaks in everything, palmers included lol)

| Re: Brass? In my opinion the brass is a very good rec ball barrel. Again, geared toward shooting field paint due to its versatility. However, I have found the lapco is a better barrel if you put any effort in other than just showing up and buying field paint. I use my brass when I am playing outlaw or when I am shooting the last of a mix of cases and it performs very well. But if I am playing for my team or really care about the outcome I tend to use the lapco and put a bit of effort in matching paint with a close bore match. |

| Re: Brass? .689, what are some of the brands that you field sells? I generally use zap chronic when I practice with my team. Origin basic training is fairly cheap but a bit too small and you will experience some accuracy issues, but nothing horrible. |
