I saw that photo as well and got inspired. I have have a bunch of parts on order (unfortunately back order) as soon as they come in I am going to be performing a mod similar to this.

I'll make sure I post pictures of the results...good or bad....

I got the parts.. but I'm figuring out whether I should:

- drill and scrape the foregrip
- saw off the lower tip of the A5 and grind to get the grip closest to the mag.
- don't sacrifice the right side because of the cyclone and keep the grip ergonomical.


What a dillema... it's an expensive piece of platic..

i plan to mod the shroud to my gun. Not my gun to the shroud.

So in that way i will cut the bottom piece until nessecasry, as well as the top.

Then on the cyclone side i will cut it to fit.

it's a good thing the mp5 grip can be dissasembled in two parts. I'm planning to drill a hole in the centre for the a5 tip.

Funny, it looks cool if you only fit the upper part anddisplace the lower part...hmmmm

Good Luck to all of you and please post your results. I got my parts but I am waiting for my tools now. My father has a Dremel set he is mailing me. Once I get that you can bet that I'll be cutting that same day.

I plan on cutting off the fin on the A-5 and then cutting up the grip as needed to fit from there. I will be sacrificing the right side of the grip for the cyclone. I don't see any other way around it if you want the proper fit up tight to the magazine.

kinny you are very right about the X-7 grip. The fact that it comes in half is very helpful here.
