| Should I get a bolt? I just ordered my e-grip! Now, a couple of reviews recommended getting an aftermarket (metal) bolt cause the stock ones wear out fast with it set on auto/burst....Is this true? If so, which bolt?? I'd like to keep running the stock Velocity Adjuster but either way my set-up is: Qloader E-Grip Palmers Female Stabilizer Polished Internals I haven't replaced a thing inside the gun, I do have a Dead-On bolt/power tube laying around somewhere, just never had a need to put it in and it didn't seem to be smooth quality wise. |

| Re: Should I get a bolt? I ahve only seen a hand full of metal front bolts. The dead-on powertube/bolt combos are suppose to be the best. If you are uneasy about its quality you cant go wrong with jcs red hot powertube and front bolt. The front bolt is made of plastic but doesnt wear out since its very smooth as well as the powertube. A metal front bolt will increase weight to moving parts increasing recoil and recipicating mass which will result in slower CPS.

| Re: Should I get a bolt? The JCS redhot powertube now comes with a derlin Hexadecagon front bolt. I am very happy with mine, but the stock plastic one only had minimal signs of wear. Maybe in the long run it would make a difference, all I noticed for now was a jump in velocity. |

| Re: Should I get a bolt? I pesonally went with a Rear Velocity Adjster (JCS) instead of the stock one. It is a more efficient way of adjusting, than the FVA screw. It adjusts tension on the drive spring instead of just creating a disruption in the air flow. I have not seen any wear on my bolt from using an Egrip. But I don't normally run around shooting on full auto. I have for fun and giggles, but usually I don't. When allowed I use ramping so I can lay down fire when needed but still conserve ammo. |

| Re: Should I get a bolt? I run my board capped at 20 bps and have ran 3 shot full auto on several occassions. Hardly any wear on my plastic JCS bolt.
