A5 CO2 Mounting options

Hey guys, just curious what my options are if I wanted to mount a smaller CO2 tank, such as those from rap4 (im thinking about a few 100G tanks). Ideally I'd like to just screw them in right where the gas line comes out right in front of the trigger frame. Is there threads there already that I can just screw the tank into? Is there a product out there that will let me do this?

You may be wondering why I want to put such a small tank on my gun, well I am also going to be buying a Cyclone Cap (smallest one I can find) and shoot very concervatively on the field. I would carry a couple of those tanks with my in my vest and have a larger 20oz tank back at the loading station where i can refill them when needed.

Thanks for your help!

Re: A5 CO2 Mounting options

Just unscrew the braided hose from there and yep, you can screw any size CO2 tank directly out of the tombstone.

Re: A5 CO2 Mounting options

If I where you, I'd run a 3.5 oz tank from there. It looks like they're charging $75 for a "100 gram" tank... Which is the same internal size as a 3.5 oz, just 3 times bigger.

Re: A5 CO2 Mounting options

I had exactly the same ideas.. I have one with 2x12gr co2 adapter which screws directly into the ASA.

You got the 100gr... that's nice and worth the amount of shots getting from it.

Re: A5 CO2 Mounting options

RAP's stuff is way over priced. I saw a SIR rail kit on RAP for like $230 not including shipping. I found one on ebay for $65 shipped.
