Quickie Q about mags, help!

hey guys I am looking at getting a G36 kit for my A-5 but am not sure if I want to use the G36 magwell+ mag or if I want to get a different kit.

does the shroud allow you to still use any mag and mag-well that you like?

if so, which mag do you guys think would look best?

yes, if you get the shroud, you could get a different mag kit, the one that comes with the G36 shroud just screws in where your forward handle is now

beauty. thank you. any opinion on which mag would look best? I am stuck between the G36 and M4 mags.

The only problem i have had with the G36 mag is that it's a little long for me, its a bit hard to go prone, because how the mag hits the ground. However, i think that it looks the best personally

you can pop the mag out though can you not? when going prone that would work. good point though - I might go with an M-4 shorty mag as I am often prone

well, yes and no, there are 2 screws that go into the mag to hold it in, but if they're not in, the mag won't fall out, however I keep those screws in, I don't like modifying my gear on the field. But, i may leave the screws out when i go to blanding this weekend

well its come down to G36C mag or the Lapco polymer M4 mag... and between the 2 I like the G36C and they are the same price.
