| Didn't need TechT Hair Pins? Hi everyone, I'd like to open with this forum has help direct me in many ways with trouble shooting as well as upgrade/mod help. To cut to the chase, I have read many good things about the TechT upgrades, so I checked out their web site. Very cool! I decided that I was going to upgrade anything they had for my A-5, including the trigger pins. After trying both the trigger stop pins and the sear pins even the smallest pin was too large. The stop pin would not let the trigger come back and the sear would run away. Has anyone heard of this? I found it odd that neither pin would work for either application. In any event, I'm going to give them to my brother to let him try it on his A-5 (his is probably 2 years older than mine) The cyclone stuff is great, and I had the chance to call down to them and they have the best & friendliest group I ever talked to. They truly have great products with people who want you to take pride in your equipment both in looks as well as performance. I can't wait for their blade triggers for the A5. |

| Re: Didn't need TechT Hair Pins? Your sear and/or hammer may be worn too much for the pins too work correctly. If you really want to use them, you could get a new hammer and sear set and then try them out. I replace mine every year just in case so I have spares in case crap happens. Your call dude.

| Re: Didn't need TechT Hair Pins? I bought the hairpin kit and installed them about 3 months ago.It took a little trigger shaving and switching pins to find out which ones worked best, but I'm happy I bought them.My double trigger with the hairpin kit and clicky pen spring mod has a real nice feel to it and my ROF is definately higher. |

| Re: Didn't need TechT Hair Pins? i ghetto-rigged my own with scotch tape. i cut about a 3" piece, then slit it up the middle and wrapped one piece on the trigger pin and one on the sear pin. just kinda guessed on the length, and it took a little effort to get the assembly back together (had to trim excess off the ends and a bit of old fashioned muscle) but the trigger quite a bit better to me. much easier to walk now, and much more consistent than before. i always heard tippy's were hard to walk, but mine's not bad now. of course, i have the tippmann plastic double trigger which isn't the greatest, but i'm gonna get a jcs trigger eventually. |
