Re: Macro Line or Steel Mesh Hose?

Braided S/S hose is more durable than macroline but it's ugly. You can change it's color scheme by going to radio shack or an auto parts store and getting shrink tubing in whatever color you choose. Simply slide it on the hose and heat it before installing it. It's also available in Emperial (standard) and Metric threads.

Macroline is a nylon tube that comes in a variety of different colors and burst pressures...but it doesn't react well with expanding CO2 on a hot sunny day. It's more designed to be used with HPA applications on high-end markers for the aesthetics of not having s/s with it's color scheme...and the non-expanding nature of the HPA. It is definately easier to work with than s/s though.

All Palmer aftermarket regulators are Emperial threaded. You will need a 90* male/female adapter for s/s lines...or a 90* macroline...to install whatever on the Stab. Depending on what ASA you have, depends on what fitting you need for the s/s or macro. If the hose comes out the front of the asa, you either;
1. just the s/s line (won't need a fitting for the s/s line) or
2. a straight macroline fitting.

If the asa has the line port on the side of it, you'll need either a;
1. 90* male/female fitting for the s/s hose or
2. another 90* macroline fitting

Re: changing from braided line to macroline

you can used the stock asa, but you will need a ASA reducer (if u have an extra remote just take the male QD part off) and your 2 macroline fittings and some macroline. its pretty easy to do
