If you're only doing a solid color, then I would say the tan. I don't know what it is, but I find the tan to make markers look really good. Especially if it still has some black parts, it kind of gives it a good contrast.

if it was for me, i would leave it black. jsut beucsae it looks more real

I would paint it Coyote Brown. To me it is a good compromise.

i agree.. coyote would look good, specially if eventually u want to go multi cam

I like Flat-black with a weathering job, thats what my marker is currently. But of course OD green (for my area in the woods at least) on the reciever and other parts looks good and is probably more effective.
But dang does flat-black with weather look sexy!

EDIT: Oh woops you allready painted it..Nevermind haha

In my opinion, if you're not going to camo it, flat black is the way to go.

I used OD green and military mid-brown (chesnut?) over the stock finish in what i call a Tactical Tribal design, Ill post some pics when i find my camera(In the middle of moving and it got packed doh!). Ill also post some of my buddy's homebuilt barret/m4(BTAssault) as its got a pretty kickass paint scheme too.

Well here's the Tactical Tribal, sorry the gun is still pretty basic and ive already removed the cheap leaky expansion camber but ive only been an A-5 operator for about a month now, so paint is as far as its gone so far..
