rate the A5

i would like everyone to rate the A5 on a 1-10 scale and not be biased just b/c u have one. i personally would have to give it a 10/10 b/c of the price, reliability, accuracy, mods, and durability. its a marker that can grow with you as you progress in the sport of paintball.

Re: rate the A5

I would have to give it a 9/10. Reliability, price, performance, and the numerous upgrades and mods for it make it one of the top markers in my book. Can't say its perfect but for being near perfect I give it a 9.

Thumbs up Re: rate the A5

I would give it a 9/10 just because nothing is perfect. But fore the price you pay for it its unbeatable.

Re: rate the A5

8/10 for me. Best performance for the price. Great upgrades but some of these are where the cost can go up. Built to last and take a beating. No way would I trust a space gun to take the kind of beating my tippy does. Easy to field strip and repair. 1 point off for the quality of the ratchet in the cyclone. This should be fixed and come standard. flatline is an option only availble on a tippman.

Re: rate the A5

8/10

performs great, its a tippmann, so reliability isnt even an issue. pulling a couple pins to get to the internals is awsome. its like a 98c on roids.

Re: rate the A5

9/10.

Great reliability, performance, power, and durability.
Unmatchable prices and can go against high end scenario guns.

Like somebody else stated, nothing is perfect. This is near perfect.

Re: rate the A5

i give it an 8 because the gun itself is pretty good
however it is the aftermarket parts that make it a 10

Re: rate the A5

Ill give the gun an 8 because its above average quality, has a billion aftermarket parts available, will last forever, is more durable then average, the Cyclone feed is an AWESOME idea, and it doesn’t cost THAT much. However, it does NOT deserve a "10" since the gun isn’t "perfect".

The trigger pull could be shorter, semi-auto fire is slow, the marker could weigh a lot less, the finish isn’t that great (I have cut my fingers on rough edges and the like), the stock barrel isnt even par for the course, plus other things.

Anyway it's a very solid gun that’s more then competitive with other markers in and above its price range plus it’s the Mustang GT/Honda Civic of the marker world in terms of its "modability". 8/10 seems right for this marker.
