Question Hopper Questions: X7 loader or TAC-CAP?

Hey, guys! So I have my A5, I still haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but I'd like to replace the hopper that comes with the marker. As most of you know, it can be quite the easy target so I want to go with something a little more low profile. I've been playing with the idea of getting the X7 hopper or a TAC-CAP. I'm a little hesitant about the TAC-CAP (A5 TAC CAP LOADER - BuyPBL Paintball) mainly because it seems that it can only hold up to 50 balls (can you add another piece so that you can have more paintballs?) but at the same time I'm liking the idea that the TAC-CAP will be lighter than the X7, when filled with paint and what not.

Any ideas of what kind of hopper I should get?

Re: Hopper Questions: X7 loader or TAC-CAP?

you can stack tac-caps i believe. Im pretty sure ive seen them stacked pretty high. you could also add a stove top then tac-cap.

I use the x-7 hopper and dont think its bulky in anyway. Some times i turn it around so the loading end is forward to bring more weight to the rear of the marker but i dont think i can tell a diffrence.

Re: Hopper Questions: X7 loader or TAC-CAP?

I have the tac-Cap... but I would suggest the X7 hopper if you do not want to play with 50 rounds.
Its really a different game with 50 rounds... I like it.. but you need to reload alot if you shot alot

All depends on how you want to play.
But I would suggest the X7.. its not to heavy and low profile.. and you can have 200 rounds...

Re: Hopper Questions: X7 loader or TAC-CAP?

I have the X7 hopper and so far I havent had any problems with it. Im not really the sorta person who can go through a game with less than 200 rounds. Depends on how you play, what you play (I guess), and how accurate the other team is :P

I have played with a 50 round hopper before, but I tend to shoot a lot. I play mostly mid to back field, and while I found that I have to reload a lot more with the 50 round hopper, it also makes me be more conservative with paint.

Then again, I have the RT Trigger installed, and although I am having difficulty in getting it working, I guess it wouldn't make much sense to have the TAC-CAP. I think I am leaning more towards the X7 hopper in that case.

Re: Hopper Questions: X7 loader or TAC-CAP?

yeah.. it is fun with a Tac-Cap and it foces me to be more vigilant of the situation and not shot everywhere
But always playing against people who have 200 hoppers can be bothersome for some people.

And yes... with an RT.. maybe 200 round hopper will do.
I actually dropped the Tac-Cap a couple of month ago. Now I have a 200 round hopper again.

Re: Hopper Questions: X7 loader or TAC-CAP?

The thing that strikes me is you said you were hesitant about the 50 round cap with the Tac Cap.

Go with the X7 hopper.

Re: Hopper Questions: X7 loader or TAC-CAP?

I would recommend the X7 or maybe a B.U.L.P Loader.

I love my X7 Hopper, especially since I know have Tek-Liners in it.
