I run CO2 now, but as funds allow I am going to switch to HPA. I hear nothing but good things about it.

I'm using C02 because if I switched to HPA I would have to drive an extra 30 min. to get my HPA tanks filled, whereas I currently drive 30 min. to fill my C02 tanks at 20 cents an oz. at the local Hardware store they charge you 50 cents an oz.

I have a 20 oz CO2 tank, but I recently ordered a 72 cu 3000 psi HPA tank. I figure its good to have both, esp since the HPA tank was only ~$70.

Currently? I don't have a dedicated air system. I rent a tank from the field, and which field that happens to be dictates what I rent.

Given the choice, I always go for HPA over CO2 because of its consistency and the fact that it doesn't mess up my internals.

I run C02. It's cheaper, and very accessible. I just get 50 pound tanks and put a fill station on them (Order these tanks through the gas guy). HPA is not accessible out where I live. AI have to drive over 200 miles to get it. Plus you can get regulators and expansion chambers for C02 which make the C02 much more predictable and more efficient.

HPA for me. A 72/3000 steel bottle came with my A5, and I already had a stirrup-pump from my air rifles, so my refills are free, and I get a good leg workout refilling too
Opposite to some other posts, HPA is easier to get here than CO2 for an individual, though on fields it tends to be CO2.

I was thinking of getting a HPA tank but after I used my friend's, it was just too heavy! I was surprised... I don't have much right now so I probably can't afford anything lighter. Too bad that's it's only weakness really. That and the price.

i live in florida, and even in the summer c02 has frozen my 98 and later my a5 during rapid fire.

hpa is just better for the gun (and now that i think of it, prolly the enviroment, dont let the tree-huggers know we us carbon dioxide(co2))

How much psi can you get in your tank off of a manual pump?

I switched over to HPA and wow! Big difference!
