| Re: Tank Relocation?!? Switching? I hope you plan to do that between matches. A remote is not something you can just flip back and forth. You need to strap your tank onto a vest, run the remote line, and then open the remote valve. If you plan to do this on the field you'll need a team mate to assist and about 3 min of no one shooting at you.

| Re: Tank Relocation?!? I do plan on doing it inbetween matches... i did switch on the fly once though.... had to run really fast with no weight on my back.... 6 full pods and 2 20oz tanks is a ***** trying to run.. just dropped my vest closed the remote valve opened the slide check unscrewed the remote adaptor and screwed in my 2nd tank.. And... I did it alone.. i was just well hidden haha |

| Re: Tank Relocation?!? Rev - yes, supposedly there is an "advantage". Your propulsion comes not from pressure of the compressed gas, but from the kinetic energy of the liquid vaporizing into gas. The problem is that I don't know if the gun's valve can take it. Certainly a plastic power tube would crack from the cold.

| Re: Tank Relocation?!? correct. u need to get an exp. chamber of some sort and an aluminum powertube if u want the best possible performance from co2

| Re: Tank Relocation?!? Expansion chambers are next to worthless. If you really want to control CO2's behavior you need a regulator. Also, anti-siphon tanks only work when you can guarantee one side wll always be up, a difficult feat when you can get in all sorts of different positions in the field. As for running liquid, the Tippmann valve is more than tough enough to withstand the greater forces. Butwith how cheap and plentiful HPA is becoming, it's not really worth it.

| Re: Tank Relocation?!? most regs act as a limiter of pressure, not something that allows for additional volume for LIQUID to turn to GAS. So how is it that you say an exp. chamber is worthless? It creates extra room between the source and the entry of the marker. Obviously a reg would help, but a decent reg is a min. of 60 and you can pick up exp. chambers for like 10 bucks and it's a good starting point. Why not run a cmi r-2000 inline reg to the expansion chamber, sounds like that would work well to me, and you'd have a setup that would work well for hpa too, because you could lower your psi more without experiencing shootdown b/c of the extra volume.
