PBJ Time Egrip Pen Spring

I currently have a brand new WAS board e-grip with a double trigger. I don't like using fully automatic, so I currently use Auto Response, which allows me to nearly go fully automatic when necessary and 1 shot when not necessary. I enjoy this mode, but in situations where I am taking heavy fire I need heavy firepower to respond with. Would using the pen spring with my double trigger e-grip setup increase the rate of fire by allowing me to reset the trigger faster? It's not a large problem, but I would like to be reassured that I could fire at a high ROF. I have searched this topic but have not found any results regarding a double trigger+pen spring+egrip. Any comments would be greatly appreciated, and I just want to know if this could hurt me in any way, or even make the pull to light before I play tomorrow. Thanks!

Re: Egrip Pen Spring

I assume that you are currently using the stock spring?

Yes, a pen spring will allow for a lighter pull. Generally this is done with Response Triggers as it helps to achieve sweet spotting of the trigger. A light pull will help you to walk the trigger faster, but it really all depends on what kind of feel you like.

Re: Egrip Pen Spring

I pen springed my R/T, not only does it let you single fire faster but it seems that it is easer to find the sweet spot as well.
