Re: Remote, Response Trigger Expansion Cylone Trouble

I am not sure what the issue is. I run a remote on my RT and never have problems. The expansion chamber should not cause an issue either as it just lets the c02 expand from liquid to gas before entering the marker. One thing I have had happen on with the remote though is I turned the knob in too far and it restricted the flow enough to cause it to act like I was out of air. Now I turn it in and back it off 1/2 a turn or so.

Re: Remote, Response Trigger Expansion Cylone Trouble

I had the same problem when the valve on my remote line was all the way open. Thry cranking it down a bit and see it that fixes it.

Re: Remote, Response Trigger Expansion Cylone Trouble

there is something with the connection at the air tank and the line. The few good shots is probably a combo of air in your line and expansion chamber, does your line tighten up when you screw in the knob for the air to run through it? If not, then its something with the line, use the tank straight to the marker to isolate the problem just to be sure and see how it does.

Re: Remote, Response Trigger Expansion Cylone Trouble

I honestly don't understand what you are saying but it seems like the knob on your coil is either not turned on or not enough. Please rephrase the question and maybe I could help you out some more.

Re: Remote, Response Trigger Expansion Cylone Trouble

I don't think that using remote and expansion chamber together is a good idea
If you want to use remote then get rid of expansion chamber

Re: Remote, Response Trigger Expansion Cylone Trouble

I concur with markerman. The remote itself will act as a pseudo-expansion chamber due to its volume. You can remove your expansion chamber as it is just adding unnecessary weight.

Re: Remote, Response Trigger Expansion Cylone Trouble

Hook your bottle directly to the marker. If it shoots OK, then you know that the problem is in the remote. I have seen a remote collapse inside the hose and not allow enough flow through the hose. I have also seen the bottle connection not allow the valve to open the bottle fully. Attach the bottle, screw the valve all the way in and then back out about a 1/4 - 1/2 turn. I have seen them go to far. Make sure the problem is in the remote or the marker first.

Could you please explain what you mean by a remote "collapsing inside the hose"? How does this happen, how to detect it, and what exactly occurs?r
